I know many of you noticed my lack of posts over last few moths, I do appologize but it will continue for awhile. I am going through health issue with my 5 year old daughter as well as myself. I will also be starting my seasonal employment in a few days that requires me to work 50 hours a week until April 15th.

I will be continually updating and posting on my other blog ScrapWhat and if I have freebies this is where you can find them. (PSST, have you snagged my recent ones?) Well, I will try to at least post once a month just to stay in touch, I will miss my friends and I hope to see you when I stop in.

Here is a new kit I just finished, By The Ocean; containing 6 papers, 13 embellishments, 3 frames and a full alpha in coordinating blues and greys. I made a textured tag during a tutorial and decided to build an entire kit based on it and this is that kit.

My freebie today is a kit that I posted free QP's from awhile ago, Enchanting Fairies. This kit is based on a fairie that I drew years ago and is 100% my own work. Vintage Love Kit

First, I am alittle upset right now, when I logged into my 4-shared account this morning I noticed that somehow someone has downloaded my Pay to Use kits. They have gotten to everyone of them and I am just so confused as to how this has happened. Whoever you are it is not in the least bit polite nor fair to steal someones creations, I may not be the best in the world but each of my creations took alot of time, energy and creativity. It seems that from now on I will have to put a password on all of my zipped files to try and keep this from happening again.

On a lighter happier note, I have a pretty new kit for you this morning. I sat down at the PC last night and suddenly this kit was born, lol. It is called vintage Love and it contains 10 papers, 4 frames, a full alpha and 16 embellishments. Find this kit HERE.

Samhain Blessings Kit

This year I will celebrate Samhain for the first time in the fashion it is meant to be celebrated. Usually I have quietly let my own spiritual festivies and Holidays come and go with out much fuss for fear of upsetting those around me. Finding Web-hosting

Okay, I am seriously frustrated with this whole web-hosting, domain name stuff. I am looking for a place where I can build a website that has my domain name, offers the ability to customize the site, will support a forum/multiple pages/storefront/blog, unlimited bandwidth, multiple emails, and a HUGE amount of storage space and does NOT cost a fortune. PLEASE help, I am asking for the advice of anyone and everyone, I am just completely frustrated with all of this. It would also be nice if I did not have to purchase multiple months/years at a time to get a decent price. I DO NOT want outside ads but would like the option to provide my own.

Am I asking too much or is there a hosting service out there that is close to what I want? Please, I am on my knees begging for a shove in the right direction.

I was sitting here reading my posts when it hit me, I rarely talk about my family. Wow, that is just bizarre considering they are my life, the reasons I wake up everyday and truck through all the madness we call life. This first pic is my hubby and the five youngest of our brood. Ok from left to right here is the roll call: Kember(5), Nathan(6), CJ(hubby), Charlie boy(4mon), Eli(7) and Brody(2).

This next one is Jacob our oldest, 11 yrs and as tall as me! Yes, that is a butterfly on his finger, new exhibt at our local zoo.

This is my dad and Charlie boy.

And this is my mom with Charlie and Brody the day Charlie was born.

Well that's my familia, and yes there are 10 people living in one house, LOL. Makes for an interesting yet full existence.

Baby Boy of MIne kit

Here is my baby boy kit, I have 6 boys so I have way more ideas than I do for girls. This kit is not your average soft baby colors. Some are a little more grungy than you may be used to but I have a feeling you will like the overall effect. This kit is not as big as you may be used to seeing from me but I do have an evil plan in the works(LOL). I will be creating kits by the stage and the next one will be the toddler years. Each kit is going to mesh together so that in the end you have a Mega boy kit that follows from infancy to teens. I do have an add-on started and it will be a freebie, I also have a few CU ok wordarts as well, just give me some time and I will get them posted for you all.

Now on to personal stuff, my band(hubby, me, my mom and dad and my 11yr old son) have just started recording our first album, YEAH! We have completely finished one track and are almost done with two others. As soon as we have finished I will post a link so you can all hear them(remember feedback is always welcome but please be kind:)So if my posts lack a little please be patient and I will deliver on all my promises soon.

New kit Violet Femmes

I have a new kit for you all today, Violet Femmes. Kit contains 16 vibrant purple colored papers and 25 embellishments, not all elements are shown on the preview. I had alot of fun making this kit, all elements are handmade using various brushes and dingfonts. Have a little Goth in your life or a bona fide Femme Fatale? Then this kit is perfect for you, but do not let it fool you this kit is very versatile.

I am close to releasing the Yellow Ribbon-Here for Life charity kit; just waiting for the ok from all my guest designers. I will unveil their names as soon as I have confirmation that they are ready for lift off. I thought I would give you a small preview of my contribution, it is called Be Happy. Now my kit was created using various commercial use freebies from super talented designers, all of which are excited to be co-contributers.

The way this will work is I will provide you a link where you can donate to this organization, once you receive your email confirmation just send it to my inbox. Scrapping Block

I'm going through a period of scrappers block, ughh it is annoying. It would be okay if I could at least put some pages together but even that has become frustrating. Maybe its because I miss my PS CS3, I can't wait until I finally get it. I even find myself in situations where I say "Now why didn't I bring the camera for this?".

Like last night, my 11 year old son was fitted for his orchestra instrument, the cello, and there I was missing the pure joy and excitment on his face. Why din't I think to take the camera with me? This is the first year he is doing any extra-curricular stuff, and he chose orchestra without missing a beat. I am so excited for him, I can't wait until his first performance.

I'm gonna get off here and try to work on my Charity kit some more, wish me luck!

Scrap Kits for Charity

I want to implement a program called "Scrap for Charity"; where I build a kit that symbolizes and represents a particular campain of awareness. I would contribute the sales of the kit to that charity; I am looking into how I can do this as an atomatic thing so that you get a confirmation of gift to that charity with your name and not mine. Then I want to post pages that have been scrapped using the kit to promote awareness for each campaign. It would be wonderful if you scrapped a page that deals with the campain, but do not feel as if you must; all links sent to me for pages created with the kit will be posted.

This month is Suicide Prevention;and in support of World Suicide Prevention Week (Which is September 3-9th) I have chosen "Yellow Ribbon Here For Life" campaign to recieve the contributions from the sales of this kit. The Yellow Ribbon Programme aims to educate youth so that they feel comfortable in asking for help within all kinds of typical, everyday situations; situations ranging from problems such as frustration, bullying, fears and phobias, family problems, school problems, homework, peer issues, sports problems, drug problems, anger problems, relationship difficulties, depression, sadness, grief to thoughts of self-harming behaviour. Yellow Ribbon also supports communities and families wishing to help young people through these difficult phases and times.

Now I will keep the kit available for a full year and doante the profit from it for that full year. After 1 year it will become a CU freebie, with only one catch, I ask that you include the Yellow Ribbon-Here for Life ribbon that I will include in the kit in anything that you create using this kit. It doesn't have to be a part of the kit itself, but it would have to atleast appear on your Preview pages in its original form.

Scrapbook Forum and a New kit.

I have a new kit available at my storefront; B.I.S.S. Have you seen the movie Because I Said So? I just saw it last week and loved it! Anyway, I was watching it and in one scene mom and daughter are in the daughters loft rearanging the furniture arguing. In the middle of the argument I suddenly said "the color scheme is PERFECT for a scrapbook kit, and B.I.S.S was born, lol. Now this preview does NOT show everything included in this kit, the file was so HUGE that I had to split it in 3 just to upload it. It has 16 papers, 12 embellishments, 2 overlays, 3 4X6 photomats, 3 frames, and 1 journal box. The papers are all richly textured, only 2 are the same texture. The overlays are 12X12, but the photomat overlays are 4X6 in. I have fallen in love with photomat's; they add texture and color to just a photo instead of the whole page.

My new kit Midnight Blessings is now finished, I have to say this kit tested my limits and creativity. I have combined rich purples with dark blues to showcase the beauty of the night. You'll find many more embellishments in the kit than are shown on the preview. I find the hours just before dusk to be so peaceful and tranquil and that is what I tried to convey in this kit. For my Pagan friends I created this kit with you in mind so I hope you like it. Click the title to be taken to my storefront. Hello all, I know its been awhile, but before you shoot me I swear I've been working on new goodies for you. I am weaning myself off the pain meds so I've been extra cranky but I'm dragging along just fine(ROFL). Just a random post

Well I've been working hard on some new embellishments lately, gem encrusted insects. I hope to get a few done soon to share with you, I'm sure you'll love them. I spend most of the time sleeping(darn medication) but I get a few hours a day to get online and work in Photoshop so I guess its not too bad, lol. My little munchkins are just so LIVELY, they're always DOING something(wish I had that much energy I swear). I've had one challenge participant send me a link to her page using the Kember Lynn kit, just Beautiful, brought tears to my eyes. The slide pic titled as Elizabeth is the page sent to me by a fellow Scrapbook Flair member Pauletta. I guess it's the meds but I am just so emotional lately. Well, I'm gonna quit rambling and sign off, Happy scrappin.

Hospital Visit

Monday I went into the hospital for a much needed hysterectomy and internal repairs. I am home now but very sore and tired. I guess you can say I'm a little depressed at losing my ability to have more children, but after 8 births I think I'll manage. Only time will tell if I will need more repair surgeries, but so far so good. If my posts seem a little quirky just shout out "Rachael lay off the pain meds", lol.

How to get Kember Lynn kit??

Okay, I only have a few steps to get the Kember Lynn kit.

1. Leave me a comment or email me with your own address where I can send the kit.
2. Create a page that I can put on a slider here(please do not use the QP's I have done already).
3. Refer someone else to my bog to recieve the kit themselves. You will be given a code that they will use to identify you as their referal source.

If you do this I will send you a zip file that contains 4 overlays that you may use for personal OR commercial use. Please remember to give credit where it is due and refer others to this blog to recieve the kit and chance to get the overlays.

Because this challenge is using a kit that is actually for sale I can only give to those who follow the rules I have stated. If you just want the kit it will be available on my storefront after the challenge ends but the overlays will NOT be included, they are a seperate purchase.

This challenge will end on September 31, and after this date the kit will only be available for purchase.

Kember Lynn Kit Finished!

I just finished up my second kit inspired by my daughter, hence the name "Kember Lynn". She is a little quirky and mismatched and so is this kit. It is bright, vibrant, and definitely all GIRL. There is soft embellishments and pages but I have also included elements and pages that shout "Girl Over Here". The kit contains more than is shown in the Layout.

It's 2:30 in the morning and I'm still awake, whew I don't think I'm going to get any sleep tonight. Brody keeps waking up screaming and Charlie boy is having a rough night trying to get used to his own bed(*blush* four months old and he is still in bed with me, will I never learn, lol). I am so tired, have to work tomorrow and I spent most of today working. Well, I finished up some overlays for my store go by and check them out they are ubber cheap. I'm really having fun with overlays so I'll be having a challenge soon to win free overlays and a spotlight on my Blog featuring your creation. I will be posting a couple in the next few days that you can grab for free just keep checking back.

Hello everyone, I have just finished creating my first kit and am posting the papers tonight. Soft Dreams combines pastel greens and purples to create a soft dreamy feel. I am super-duper busy as I am mother of 8, but will try to post the embellishments in the next few days that accent these papers.
